Carter Elliott, age 48 of Conway, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, May 19, 2002. He was born October 28, 1953, in Helena, AR, to Klara Gayle Carter Elliott of Blytheville, and the late Billy Bob Elliott.
He was a graduate of El Dorado High School, was a real estate investor, and the founder of Detco Industries of Conway and OMEGA Laboratories of Houston, TX. He was a member of The Church Alive in Conway, and was an active supporter of a multitude of ministries and charities.

He is survived by a son, Trey Elliott and his wife Julie of Conway; a daughter, Ashley Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah; and their mother, Lark G. Elliott of Salt Lake City. He is also survived by a sister, T.K. Hall of
Abilene, TX; two brothers, Billy Bob Elliott, Jr. of Dallas, TX and Matt Elliott of Conway, AR; and Dr. Jana Crain Elliott of San Francisco, CA.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2002 at The Church Alive with Rev. Randy Long officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. There will be a private visitation for the family only.
Pallbearers will be Don Mallory, Shane Dixon, Danny Cook, Dennis Spradlin, David Clark, and Stan Goss. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Clark, Al McCorkle, Lanny Grissom, and John Crain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church Alive in memory of Carter Elliott. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.
