Richard B. Dean, age 89, of Vilonia, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday,
February 21, 2006. He was born in Protem, MO, on November 15, 1916
to the late Albert and Lila Dean.
He had been retired from Borden's Inc. in Detroit, MI, since 1982. He
was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Vilonia. Additionally,
he was an Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Disabled American
Veterans (DAV) and Veteran's of Foreign War (VFW).
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby P. Dean; one son, Steve R.
Dean and wife Amelia of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren, Evan C. Dean,
Ryan A. Dean, and Emily C. Dean; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Charles W. Dean.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at First Baptist
Church of Vilonia with interment following at Arkansas State Veterans'
Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
