Georgia Lee Van Pelt, age 75 of Naylor, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 2, 2005. She
was born March 13, 1929 in Enola, Arkansas the daughter of the late James Elmer and Dollie
Mae Freeman Grable. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years: Carl Van Pelt.
She was a member of the Naylor United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Frances Atkinson and husband Goley of Naylor; Judy
Carmichael and husband Ted of Alaska; Denise Prowse and husband Gordon of Naylor; by
seven grandchildren: Tanya Pearce and husband Patrick, Renita Atkinson, Jennifer Carmichael,
Traci Altman and husband Tony, Terry Prowse, Jimmy Prowse and wife Robin, and Lisa Prowse;
by five great-grandchildren: Graeme Pearce, Hayden Pearce, Tony Altman, Jr., Heather Prowse,
and Jimmy Prowse, Jr.; by her sister, Dorothy Paul and husband Ronald of Conway; and by two brothers: James Grable and wife Wanda of Sherwood and Jerry Grable and wife Sharon of
Funeral services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., March 4, 2005, at the Naylor United Methodist Church, officiated by Bro. Harold Claassen with burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Naylor. Visitation
will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Roller McNutt Conway.
